Oral Surgery
A number of different conditions may require the removal of teeth. Teeth that are loose or heavily decayed may need to be extracted. Your dentist will discuss your different options.
Wisdom teeth (third molars) are the last set of teeth to develop. Sometimes these teeth emerge from the gum line and the jaw is large enough to allow room for them, but most of the time, this is not the case and they become impacted. Extraction of these teeth is sometimes necessary. After a careful assessment, your doctor may recommend removal.
Cancer screenings are done on every patient at our office. Should an area of concern develop, your dentist may do a biopsy of this area. For your added comfort during oral surgery, we offer multiple levels of sedation, including nitrous oxide gas, oral sedation, and I.V. sedation.
Our services include:
• Wisdom teeth removal
• Simple and complex tooth removal
